HELLO HELLO EVERYNYAN

I spent all day resting... but I GOTTA get this post out, as is customary for whenever I step outside.

I already yapped a lot on Twitter (follow me if you want your timeline absolutely clogged with brainrot and retweets and the occasional yaoi drawing) and in the meetup server itself, so a lot of this is repetition, but please bear with me ^^;

First of all, as a member of the organization team, THANK YOU to everyone that came out to PICO DAY NJ and making NG HISTORY with us!! With record attendance, I'm very glad this event turned out as successful as it did!

To everyone I met for the first time, or even the second or third time, and the people I didn't get to meet at all, you all ROCK. Keep doing what you do. You're all amazing people and I'm rooting for you.

A lot of you know my story. I unfortunately came to Newgrounds during the Funkin' boom in 2021 so I am, shamefully, A Funker. But I do still think I came in at a good time, I can at least be proud to call myself part of the NEW GENERATION of Newgrounds.

I do think it's kinda crazy how in just three years I've somehow made it to the point where I was able to have the honor of helping organize THE Newgrounds event of the year!

ANYWAY!!!!!!!

The night before! I met up with @squidly @thedyingsun and @Imprez at YESTERCADE! But a different Yestercade... oooooooh...

We had a time, then we went to Wawa and had more time, and then we had the brilliant idea of walking all the way to 7-Eleven only to arrive exactly two minutes after it closed and then we had to walk aaaaaalllll the way back...

People died, on that trek...

BUT IT WAS GREAT SEEING YOU GUYS!!

I know what I just said. I had a couple people thank me for getting this thing together, but really I think the boys @BrandyBuizel and @coby deserve all the credit wwwww, they did all the financing and paperwork n shid, I was merely moral support AHAH

I moderated the server and brought my laptops for screening the thing and demoing a game? So that's something :0 but still, y'know?

@Lolofyr had the incredibly galaxy brained idea to make TRADING CARDS for this event! And with how successful this run of it went we'll definitely have to do them again next time. If this can be a regular thing it'd be so totally fuckin rad~
